Wake Up Winter Skin!

Missed are the days of sun kissed skin! January is just a drab month, filled with diets, workouts and pale winter skin! Yikes! One of my favorite looks in the winter is a faux glow with blushing baby pink cheeks. I start of this look with clean, moisturized skin that is primed. I like Smashboxes Photo Finish Primer, or for a more less expensive one or an everyday primer Mark Primer. Then I usually use Bobbi Brown Bronzing Brick all over my face and then blended into my neck and ears. Paying special attention to spots on my face usually hit by the sun. Top or cheeks and forehead. I will then follow with a tiny bit of baby pink blush, I'm loving Nars Angelika which is a pink with a small amout of shimmer. Then my normal make up as usual. It helps me look more awake and keeps me looking forward to the warm summer months!

Moroccan Oil Review

The winter is upon us. Which means dry skin, dry lips, and dry hair. Moroccan Oil has been around for ages but is now just surfacing in magazines and tv. This amazing oil from the Moroccan Oil company is unbelievable. There are imposters out there so be sure when you buy, it looks like the image to the right. This product is on the pricey side however it is worth every penny. I don't usually go crazy over hair products but this one tops the cake. The packaging is very simple but once you open the little glass bottle an intoxicating smell hits you. Worth the price alone. A small amount goes a long way. Use between a dime and nickel size amount on damp hair. It not only speeds up drying time but it cuts down on frizz and protects the hair. With prolonged use you will notice your hair is silkier, shinier, and sexier. I have gotten tons of compliments after using this line. Other favs from Moroccan Oil is the masque for hair, and shine spray. Both have the same yummy smell and work wonders on dry damaged hair A winter and year round must!

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Review

One of my favorite cosmetics company came out with this awesome palette I would love to share some information on it with you. I have seen knock offs at Mandees and other stores at the mall, they are super cheap, under ten dollars, and look just like the real thing. However you don't know whats going into them or where they're coming from. This is not a purse we are talking about it's your eyes, lips, and face.So buy the real deal or beware you may get eye infections, alleric reactions to cheap ingrediants, or worse.  So buy carefully. Or to ensure your getting the real deal, buy only from authorized retailers. This palette is great for day or night! All the colors blend so well together, and they even come grouped together if your a novice at apply make up and coordinating colors. This great palette also comes with three cards that show you where to put what colors on your eyes to create three different looks. There are a few different finishes to the shadows as well ranging from matte to shimmer to glitter, giving you a range of options. It also contains a applicator to line eyes and apply shadow, not the best quality applicator but a nice add on. My favorite color is Silk Teddy, great evening or day color depending on what you blend with it. The palette is made from a sturdy cardboard, so keep in dry area away form steam. It goes for about $35.00 at Sephora, Ulta, or Toofaced.com. It's also a great way to samples multiple colors from the line, and if available buy them in singles or duo, which many of the colors do. This palette is a great additional to anyone's collection pro or beginner. Keep it glam ladies!

Keys to hiding a hangover.

If your like the rest of world, you are probably waking up on new years day with, yup you guessed it! A hangover. A few keys to looking like your normal glamorous self. First and foremost! DRINK WATER! This should go without sayng even if you hate water...... DRINK IT! It will make a difference. Next wash and moisturize your face. Follow by covering up dark circles, blemishes, and uneven spots with a good blendable concealer. I like Make-up Forever custom palette. Next a light layer of foundation or tinted moisurizer. I like mac s tinted one. Set with a translucent powder and follow with a blush, to awaken your tired looking face. I love Nars Orgasm, a universally flattering color. Next Line your waterline with a white pencil to give the illusion of wide eyes, if your eyes are blood shot, this is optional but you should use some Visine instead. Finish with a single coat of mascara and your favorite lip gloss. You should be set to grab brunch with the gals and laugh about the stunts you pulled the night before! Happy New Year!
