Wake Up Winter Skin!

Missed are the days of sun kissed skin! January is just a drab month, filled with diets, workouts and pale winter skin! Yikes! One of my favorite looks in the winter is a faux glow with blushing baby pink cheeks. I start of this look with clean, moisturized skin that is primed. I like Smashboxes Photo Finish Primer, or for a more less expensive one or an everyday primer Mark Primer. Then I usually use Bobbi Brown Bronzing Brick all over my face and then blended into my neck and ears. Paying special attention to spots on my face usually hit by the sun. Top or cheeks and forehead. I will then follow with a tiny bit of baby pink blush, I'm loving Nars Angelika which is a pink with a small amout of shimmer. Then my normal make up as usual. It helps me look more awake and keeps me looking forward to the warm summer months!

Moroccan Oil Review

The winter is upon us. Which means dry skin, dry lips, and dry hair. Moroccan Oil has been around for ages but is now just surfacing in magazines and tv. This amazing oil from the Moroccan Oil company is unbelievable. There are imposters out there so be sure when you buy, it looks like the image to the right. This product is on the pricey side however it is worth every penny. I don't usually go crazy over hair products but this one tops the cake. The packaging is very simple but once you open the little glass bottle an intoxicating smell hits you. Worth the price alone. A small amount goes a long way. Use between a dime and nickel size amount on damp hair. It not only speeds up drying time but it cuts down on frizz and protects the hair. With prolonged use you will notice your hair is silkier, shinier, and sexier. I have gotten tons of compliments after using this line. Other favs from Moroccan Oil is the masque for hair, and shine spray. Both have the same yummy smell and work wonders on dry damaged hair A winter and year round must!
