Sauve Keratin Dry Shampoo

I have to admit I never wash my hair every day. I usually wash it every other or every third, this is only possible in a world where there is dry shampoo! Thank the beauty gods! However I find most dry shampoos with maybe the exception of, Psssssst dry shampoo, have a citrus scent. Which is great if that's what you like, but it's not so much my favorite scent. I feel it can sometimes clash with my perfume or in some cases smell like cheap perfume or body spray.

I have tried drug store and high end dry shampoos and prob have about one or two favorites until I spotted Suave Keratin Dry Shampoo. I was excited! I had tried the original Suave Dry Shampoo and it worked amazingly however the dish liquidity scent killed it for me. After picking up the Keratin version for a steal at $3.49 on sale at my local Walgreens a week ago I was pleasantly surprised.  It not only worked great at reducing oil and greasy roots but it had an ever so light scent, so light I can't really even describe it. The white residue most dry shampoos leave on darker colored hair did brush out pretty easily too, which was an added bonus. I'm still waiting for the day that a drugstore brand will make colored ones like the Bumble Bumble dry shampoos, probably my high end fav. Just wanted to let you ladies know there is finally a decent drug store dry shampoo out!

Twirl by Kate Spade Review

Twirl by Kate Spade was sent to me for review, and boy was I excited! I was lucky enough to be sent the roller ball of this scent. Twirl is suppose to encapsulate the floral fragrance of a garden in bloom, with a twist of fruit. It's tops notes are pink watermelon, blackberry, and red currant. It's second layer consists of orange blossom, jasmine, and magnolia, and it dries down to musks and French macaroon.

My honest impression, I love it! I not only adore it but I did receive many compliments while wearing it. Twirl is a very feminine and lady like smell, which is usually what I go for when looking for a fragrance. So I lucked out with this one!  It's floral but in a young hip kind of way, not in the old lady way :) and finished with a beautiful creamy base. Most importantly it lasted all day! Which is a seller for me, in fact the smell still lingered on my scarf  for days. This perhaps may be my new perfume...... my birthday is right around the corner! You can purchase Twirl by Kate Spade at www.Nordstrom.com.
